Woodbridge at Portola

This project involves almost 400 acres and will add approximately 1000 dwelling units to the City of Portola. Gary Davis Group worked with owner Wade Associates for 2 years in negotiating issues with the City and developing the Tentative Map, Water and Sewer System Master Plans and preliminary grading design necessary for approval by the City. With the Tentative map approved, Gary Davis Group began working on design and construction documents for the major backbone infrastructure and the first two subdivisions although that has been put on hold due to current economic issues. The infrastructure for the project includes an 850,000 gallon water tank with primary distribution network of 10 and 12 inch water mains, two booster pumps and a number of pressure reducing stations, a major arterial roadway through the project, with one 2-lane 60-foot span bridge, improvements to existing city roads connecting to the project and crossings of designated wetlands in conformance with Army Corps of Engineer permits.
