Gary Davis, PE
In 1992 (after working for another company in the Tahoe Basin for 5 years), Gary Davis, P.E. began his own firm. Prior to his work as an engineer at Lake Tahoe, he worked as an engineer in the San Francisco Bay area - giving him over two decades of experience.
His training in heavy construction and civil engineering began with the U.S. Army Engineer Battalion in 1966 building airbase support facilities and roads in Vietnam and Thailand. Gary continually pursues furthering his education by attending seminars and conferences, such as the California Tahoe Conservancy and the SEAOCC - Structural Engineering Association of Central California (recently held in Squaw Valley).
Gary graduated from San Jose State University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He is a licensed Civil Engineer in both California and Nevada, and has held a California Contractor's license for many years.
In the many years that Mr. Davis has worked in the Lake Tahoe area he has established exceptional working relationships with the assorted permitting and reviewing agencies, such as:
